TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State University has hired Kevin C. Graham, a real estate developer and project manager, as executive director of the Real Estate Foundation, a new position at the university. He began his new role on Monday, Sept. 16.

Graham was a double major in finance and real estate at Florida State in 1993. He has two decades of experience in the industry, including eight years at the St. Joe Company in Tallahassee as a project manager. At St. Joe, Graham was the on-site project manager for construction of the 2003 HGTV Dream Home in Mexico Beach, Fla., among his many other projects.

Most recently, Graham served as vice president of operations for the Newland Real Estate Group’s east region in Raleigh, N.C. In that role, Graham was recognized for financial accountability and development operations in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill.

Kevin brings 20 years of finance and real estate experience, combined with a passion for FSU and strategic perspective to real estate development, that will make him especially effective as our new executive director,” said Vice President for University Advancement Tom Jennings. “We are delighted to welcome him back to FSU and Tallahassee.”

The Office of University Advancement oversees several Florida State direct support organizations, including the Foundation, Seminole Boosters, Alumni Association and Real Estate Foundation.

Beth Azor, chair of the Real Estate Foundation’s board of directors, said Graham’s professional experience and skill set will help the foundation attain its goals.

Kevin is very enthusiastic about this new position and career opportunity, especially being able to return to the city he loves — Tallahassee,” she said.

The Florida State University Real Estate Foundation was established in 2011. It receives contributions of real estate to hold, manage, lease, mortgage, develop, administer or sell in order to contribute or distribute net proceeds to Florida State University, the Florida State University Foundation or other entities.

The Real Estate Foundation’s fall board of directors meeting is Oct. 25. Visit the Real Estate Foundation or call (850) 644-6000 to learn more about the foundation.
